My name is Joe Dillard III, founder of Dillard Land Management. I’m just a normal guy with big dreams and a strong work ethic that was built growing up in the country. I was raised on nearly a 1,000-acre farm, where hard work, faith, and entrepreneurship were simply part of everyday life.

Business ownership has always been in my blood. I grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs—my dad and uncle both ran their own businesses, and my mother, who was an accountant, helped shape my understanding of responsibility and dedication before she passed away during my first year of college. Their influence helped shape the person I am today and the vision behind this company.

My father works as a timber broker and consultant, which meant I spent much of my childhood around logging crews, heavy equipment, and hardworking people who took pride in their craft. From the time I could walk—honestly even before that—my dad would carry me with him to the loading docks and job sites. Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved operating machinery and figuring out how to tackle whatever challenges a job throws my way.

What drives me most is the satisfaction of doing great work and being able to look back at a finished job with pride. Turning a piece of land into something better than it was before is one of the coolest and most rewarding parts of this work. I push myself to improve with every project and to stand out by going above and beyond for every customer.
